RF Transceivers

Spreadtrum’s RF transceivers, implemented in bulk digital CMOS silicon, are designed with stable plug-n-play RF technology to support low cost handset designs with minimal BOM cost. Spreadtrum’s RF transceivers are fully qualified by the world’s leading handset brands and are sold as integrated or bundled technologies with Spreadtrum’s baseband platforms.  Spreadtrum’s RF technologies include:

SR500/SR1000 Series (for 2G devices)

  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS (SR500) and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (SR1000) single-chip radio transceivers
  • Applications:  entry level smartphones and feature phones
  • Industry-leading receive current

SR3100 Series (for 3G WCDMA devices)

  • WCDMA, HSPA+, GSM/EDGE (HEDGE) single-chip radio transceivers
  • Applications:  dual-mode 3G(WCDMA)smartphones, feature phones and datacards
  • Multi-mode/Multi-band (MMMB) architecture with support for full featured penta-band world phones with full receive diversity
  • Minimal component count with TX SAWless 3G operation and fully integrated LNAs and clock support (including peripherals)

SR3200 Series (for 3G TD-SCDMA devices)

  • TD-SCDMA, TD-HSPA, GSM/GPRS/EDGE (HEDGE) single-chip radio transceivers, including support for dual-band TD-SCDMA and quad-band GSM
  • Applications:  dual-mode 3G (TD-SCDMA) smartphones, feature phones and datacards
  • Minimal component count with TX SAWless 3G operation and fully integrated LNAs and clock support (including peripherals)

SR3500 Series (for 4G LTE devices)

  • FDD/TDD/LTE-A, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA HSPA+, GSM/EDGE (HEDGE) single-chip radio transceivers, with support for quad-band TD-LTE, tri-band FDD-LTE, dual-band TD-SCDMA, penta-band WCMDA and quad-band GSM
