Spreadtrum develops mobile chipset platforms for smartphones, feature phones and other consumer electronics products, supporting 2G, 3G and 4G wireless communications standards including GSM, GPRS, EDGE, TD-SCDMA, W-CDMA, HSPA+, and TD-LTE.
Our solutions are sold as integated RF transceiver / baseband chipsets or bundles, and are shipping in a wide range of devices including premium smartphones, low-cost smartphones, feature phones, fixed 
wireless products and datacards.
Our solutions are delivered as turnkey platforms, combining our highly integrated, power-efficient chipsets with customizable sofware and reference designs, enabling our customers to deliver feature-rich devices while reducing time-to-market and lowering the cost of development. Our Mocor software platform, in addition to delivering the cost and time benefits of a turnkey reference design, provides customers with reusability of their design investment across different Spreadtrum chipsets and air interfaces.
Our continuous innovation centers on leveraging advanced technology to deliver low-cost platforms to OEMs developing wireless products for China and emerging market consumers. Examples of Spreadtrum “firsts” include:
